More Information
Aperol was launched by the Barbieri Company, based in Padua, in 1919 on the occasion of the Padua Exhibition - introducing the revolutionary idea of an aperitif with an alcohol content of only 11%. Its made from a blend of bitter orange, gentian, rhubarb and other herbs and roots that gives Aperol its unique taste, colour & texture stemming from a recipe that has remained unchanged since 1919. Aperol is hugely popular in Italy and served in all bars, restaurants, clubs & hotels. It is the perfect drink on a hot summer day to help cool you off and refresh your palate.
